Science Homework

Poppy Flower…

Reproduces in two fazes. First of all, the anther that is covered with pollen comes in contact with a bee, fly, or butterfly, that is in search of the nectar inside of a flower. The second step happens when the creature with the pollen lands on another flower. The pollen then comes of and flows through the pollen tube into the ovule.

The Seed is just plain and has no fruit, but it is a very popular food. Yummmm… poppy seeds…

Photosynthesis happens when the plant uses its leaves to receive the sun's rays. It also gets CO2 and H2O. The sun's rays produce the energy to split these two molecules to form glucose.

Respiration is when the plant's roots soak up water.

Transpiration happens when there is due.

It is edible, but more people would rather where it on Remembrance Day than eat the thing!
